USA Business & Investors Not Only Talk the Talk But Walk The Talk!
" It
is great news that the USA has taken this bold step to open up Afrikan
communications with the USA for business.
Business opportunity
relations are long overdue for the US to take active part in
encouraging Afrikan businesses and Afrikan Born Americans to invest in Afrika.
Other nations are helping their citizens invest outside the country
of origin. This builds up the tourist trade and promote economic
growth.
Tourism and immigration is not available for Afrikans to the
USA even on a temporary basis. Therefore, the USA is talking, putting
forth grand efforts to showcase but doing very little for Afrika."~H.R.M. Nana Kweku Egyir Gyepi III
Bottom line...Foreign corporations in Afrika must do their part to be a
positive financial contributor to the economy and the communities where
they operate. They must take the lead in fighting corruption by not
being corrupt; by not encouraging the padding of pockets to conduct
business they way they want or to bypass certain mandates. Foreign
companies, historically, has been quite profitable while Afrikan
countries has suffered from a high cost of living and very low wages.
In the past, foreign companies have violated community trust and have
not dealt with local and community leaders to ascertain what the
communities and regional needs are.
Yes, investments can be a
win win situation and must be! Afrikans must no longer be disrespected
knowing that many are quite capable. The Afrikan culture and way of
life can no longer be ignored and every effort to be preserved. The
biases must be relinquished! Afrikan private, small and large
businesses must have opportunity to grow and receive the financial
support needed to become solvent . This would put them in a position to
spend and purchase within their own communities, therefore, building a
stable economic community.
